Here’s a 2″ wide with stylish 1 1/2″ tapered ends. It’s best fit is 18″ neck size. Comprised from 12 oz. saddl;e skirting leather with a 2 oz. vegetable tanned leather liner.

These panels have history at least six(6) generations from the Oregon trail days. It has been a pleasure to work piece of such size. Really gives you the space to envision. This job is not a special order, rather an order from a gallery where one would order from a book. There are good lessons to be learned though. Practicing your technique in even dye coverage and not getting my voodoo black all over everything else. Actually blue is my most feared color. I’ve wore blue to more than one outing. I mean a whole hand blue from spilled oil dye. On all the straight cuts I use a scale to ensure straight lines. Looks much nicer without any wiggles in your work.
