Finished in British tan, backgrounded in dark brown Across Leather presents this hand tooled leather leash done with foliage and scrolls spanning 40″ by 1″ wide. It’s hand cut, tooled, beveled, burnished, oiled, airbrushed, and finished in a poly kote that guarantees years of beauty and service.
My friend Patti @ADKArtsBoutique had an idea of a drum style handbag. Old skool, I’m in. She sends down a print and off and running we go. Here’s the parts, a borrowed vintage pattern from F. O. Baird several coats of spirit dyes, highlighter and some fancy poly coat I rock. I swear the finish is indestructible except with a grinder of course.
I’m getting the box readied for Patti Turon to work without pattern and custom finish it all into our newest creation. Stay tuned to @ADKArtsBoutique for all your updates ;)
Go Patti go!
